Luther Seminary offers a School for Lay Ministry Learning Communities for only $600 (which includes being able to share the curriculum with your whole church.) From preaching and teaching to providing pastoral care or designing worship, lay leaders serve their congregations in a variety of roles – often without the theological background or seminary degrees their colleagues may have. With the School for Lay Ministry, you’ll spend an entire year immersed in engaging course studies, new ideas, and a vibrant learning community of peers.

Master of Arts in Public Leadership - (MAPL) trains those committed to making a difference in the world through public leadership. YAGM (Young Adults in Global Mission - The YAGM program sends out around 70 volunteers every year to one of twelve countries. (Argentina, Uruguay, Mexico, Rwanda, Senegal, Madagascar, Serbia, Hungary, the UK, Australia, Jerusalem and the West Bank, and this year we’ve added a NEW program in Nepal!) Volunteers engage in a variety of fields of work with our global partners, all through the lens of accompaniment and relationship. That is, our volunteers go abroad to walk along side our partners and to experience the growth and perspective that comes from the richness of human relationship with our kindred around the world.
